@grivettcarnac Ohno. Is that OG plan? Because that's what I have...I haven't seen a message about it yet though? They know that like, you can essentially find anything to stream without ads, right?
Like, the whole point of Netflix is to avoid ads.
@grivettcarnac@ladybugspicnic We've been seriously considering cancelling it since January and this is the boost we need to just let it expire by not changing tiers...our kids watch Netflix the most (Bouba, Grizzy and the Lemmings, Alien TV) but that's not enough to justify it.
@grivettcarnac@dairpo@ladybugspicnic We’ve switch do doing them monthly. We cancelled Prime and Netflix, and will probably subscribe for a month to one, go through what has piled up, then cancel (like what we did with Disney). AppleTV sticks around because we have that plan that covers everything.

But frankly it's probably better for me to just up my book reading anyway. I generally bounce between a book and a show...but I am just not willing to pay that much $ for anything.
I'll keep Disney for the kids, but otherwise 🤷🏻♀️
@grivettcarnac@dairpo I have to say it's kind annoying that I've been a customer since the very beginning and really did think it was "nice" of them to just let original plan owners to take small "hits" in prices...but ads are a bridge too far for me!
