More than half way

Echo's treatment for Avian Gastric Yeast has been difficult for both of us but today is the 16th day of 30 so we're on the downhill slope, racing for the finish.

It's getting harder and harder to catch her but at least she still loves and trusts me except when she sees me get the syringe.

She's hilarious, too. As soon as I catch her she starts screeching, and as soon as I put her down it stops like a switch was thrown. Just a constant SCREEE SCREEE SCREEE until it's over. She doesn't like the medicine but she loves the millet she gets when it's over. I wish I could reason with her about why we were doing it and how long it will be. It reminds me of trying to get meds into my kids when they were toddlers, very much.
