The is the backbone of the ’ transport system. The customised, privately-owned buses, which look like a cross between a Jeep and a van and are decorated in flamboyant colours, ply routes in neighbourhood streets and city centres, offering rides for as little as 13 pesos (23 US cents).

The jeepney is the best way to travel around the towns and cities in the Philippines 😀
I have met so many people travelling that way. It took me a while to figure out which jeepney to take at first, but once I figured out how to tell where they are going, it was great.
More than once I ended up far from my destination and had to find my way back. It was all part of the adventure.. 😀
