Because trust in websites is really a lot easier to break than refusing to work until your conditions are met: there's somewhere else else to go, your not beholden to the owners of capital. Once your free labour gets pissed, if organised it can bugger off to a different location online and continue doing what it was doing before, but under better conditions.
