Starfield doesn’t have a fan base across multi platforms. Sony certainly didn’t cave to xbox player demands and put the PS4 Spider-Man out on Xbox.

@AAKL@Forbes@paultassirss Never really, Nintendo doesn’t let Mario wander. Sega only ported sonic when they stopped doing hardware. Master Chief afaik has never gone on another system. Sony has allowed Spyro and Crash on a few others but I’m not sure it’s their studios. But they certainly didn’t share The recent Spider-man’s or Horizon’s. It’s a crazy argument.

Would they tank a cash cow like the next diablo or CoD to Xbox/PC only….not unless they want rabid fans with pitchforks storming the place along with losing a ton of cash. It would be stupid.

@AAKL@Forbes@paultassirss@arstechnica@KyleOrl Yeah I don’t know. Sony has a clear lead on exclusives and player base this gen. They have a lot of catching up to do in the cloud realm. I’m not sure on exclusives or system seller titles Microsoft can get enough out this generation at this point to even get close.
@ppb1701@Forbes@paultassirss@arstechnica@KyleOrl Sony has time to catch up on the cloud front. Meanwhile, Nvidea has what it takes to be the next cloud gaming leader. As for Microsoft, I agree. If the deal fails to go through, they will never catch up, and the status quo wins.
