When a hate vampire sets the Federations and Klingons against each other, can Uhura’s sweet sweet singing bring them all together? Can we identify the hate vampires active in our own lives today before it’s too late? They are EVERYWHERE! Do we even have the power to stop them?
@humanisttrek Great episode (of TOS and HT)! As for Day of the Dove itself, I couldn’t help noticing that the non-white crew members (Uhura and Sulu) were the only ones who seemed unaffected by the “hate vampire.”
One thing that didn’t really make sense: what actually killed the colonists on the planet they visited at the start (or the Klingons on their ship for that matter)? If it’s the hate vampire, why didn’t he keep them alive like on the Enterprise?
@humanisttrek Didn't Starfleet respond to a distress call? Was that fake? What's the range of your run-of-the-mill hate vampire's influence? So many unanswered questions...
