This code is REALLY nicely written with discrete entities and systems for modeling the math needed for a convincing depiction
So I tore it apart to build a hologram inspired by #TheExpanse’s opening titles and futuristic 3D UI design, with hundreds of ships swarming the planet marked with their transponder codes

Added controls to each marker to toggle orbit trails, along with gesture handling to move, scale and spin the system
It feels so COOL. We've barely seen the start of what's possible on this platform. This is a holographic interface, and Apple's abstractions make building in 3D so much more straightforward than I think most people have priced in so far.
See, this is why I got up and pre-ordered this thing.
I don't know EXACTLY where it's all going to go, but I do know in my bones the things we're going to be able to build will be absolutely badass on a level I've been waiting for my whole life.
Three weeks of working with it has only deepened this conviction
