Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and his Belarusian counterpart Viktor Khrenin signed an agreement in May 2023 to transfer tactical nuclear weapons to Belarus, a process that Russian leader Vladimir Putin said had begun in June.

Ukraine's Sixth Administrative Court of Appeal overturned the decision of lower courts, confirming the legality of PrivatBank's nationalization and ruling it cannot be regained by its former owners, the National Bank of Ukraine said on Nov. 15.

Most Ukrainian citizens are optimistic about the time needed for the state to join the European Union.
