Someone once aptly described the hiatus that exists between early dx-ed auts and late (self-)dx-ed auts. Their respective relation to autism is and will always be different. Someone else also commented about the way late (self-)dx-ed auts like myself sometimes act like neurotypical people towards early dx-ed auts. It may be tragic in a way but really: how would they know?

Any # mixing early and late will have the same problems at some point.
