Here's the latest variant picture for the EG.5.* variant in Australia. There are signs of growth in Queensland (7%), NSW (7%) and SA (6%).
Note data sharing from some states and territories lags significantly - the dismal routine:
- Victoria - no report for 4 weeks
- Tasmania - no report since mid-May
- NT - only 6 random samples reported since April 2022
