If you would like to read a couple of free #shortstories I wrote, I would love your feedback on what the user interface was like for you. I released these on Kindle Vela, which is a platform for episodic stories, and as the author I don't really know what it is like to access the stories through Vela
@mloxton When I click on the link on my desktop, I go to a Amazon window with a narrow column down the middle with the story in it. Presumably targeted at the window size of a Kindle. It was fine to read... if a bit odd having only the narrow column.

Yeah, it is definitely formatted to suit a tablet or smartphone aspect ratio.
Was it easy to access, or did you need to login or create an account first?

Ah ok. I guess that was predictable had I thought it through. Those two might be "free stories", but Amazon isn't going to just let people read them without an account.

Hey Dan, how much $ do those points actually translate to for you in Vela?
Most of my stories have between 10 and 20 points, so how much would that actually amount to?
