SpaceNoodle, in [Steam] Half Life Free for Limited Time

This would be a great deal if I didn’t already buy it 25 years ago

Whereas I just realized I don’t actually have it yet

eLJay, in [SSD] Samsung 980 SSD 1TB PCle NVMe M.2 - $39.99

It would be productive to delete these posts once the sale ends

jballs,
@jballs@sh.itjust.works avatar

I’m not a big fan of deleting posts because I personally like to be able to look at a history and see how prices have moved over time. I can edit the title to add an expired tag.

miss_brainfart, in Dark Matter 27in IPS QHD 2560X1440p 2ms(OD) 165Hz Gaming Monitor $160 + Free Shipping
@miss_brainfart@lemmy.ml avatar

I assume OD stands for Overdrive?

With how much manufacturers twist the numbers to make their products look better than they are, I can actually respect that one.

justaveg,

you can overclock the panel to 180hz but it supports 165 without it.

edit: oh nevermind I see now, this is related to response time.

justaveg, in Monoprice Dark Matter 31.5" 2560 x 1440 165 Hz IGZO-IPS Monitor $199

$15 off for new customers(worth a try) MPNW2X23A

Fisherswamp, in Monoprice Dark Matter 31.5" 2560 x 1440 165 Hz IGZO-IPS Monitor $199

I’m a big fan of their monitors. I have the curved ultrawide and it is amazing.

justaveg, in Ryzen 5600x3d 212.31 w/free shipping in USA - in stock

For those looking at this, I bought it the other day and it has already shipped. no reason to think shopblt will delay shipping these imo. they already have them.

ShadowRam, in Ryzen 7 7800X3D w/ Starfield code $385 US (Amazon)

aren't these the ones that burn up ?

geosoco, (edited )

It was never a processor issue. It was a few motherboards with buggy bioses (Asus and Gigabyte I believe) that would overvolt in a few instances and it has been patched since april or may.

You can see a bit of the details here if you care: GamersNexus

Dougtron007, in [CPU] AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D (Microcenter) - $259.99

Microcenter is a really cool place just to visit sometimes even if you aren’t buying anything. It reminds me of what RadioShack could have become.

jballs,
@jballs@sh.itjust.works avatar

Yeah, I like to browse even when I’m not building a PC. Unfortunately browsing usually leads to me planning on building a new PC. Pretty sure that’s their whole business strategy, since they usually offer crazy deals for new customers just to get them in the store.

Dougtron007,

I remember one time they had a bunch of R9 290s on clearance and I almost bought three more for quadfire, glad I didn’t.

Cybermass, in [CPU] AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D (Microcenter) - $259.99

athos77, in Crucial X6 Portable Solid State Drive - 2TB $89.99 / 4TB $179.99

That's the same price as on Crucial's website, and you won't have to deal with Amazon's "mixed inventory" bullshit if you deal directly with Crucial.

jballs,
@jballs@sh.itjust.works avatar

I’ve never personally had a problem with Amazon, and I have the Prime credit card which gives you 5% back.

But yeah, if you can get it direct from Crucial, post a link!

athos77,

Here's the link for Crucial.

Pulsar, in Crucial X6 Portable Solid State Drive - 2TB $89.99 / 4TB $179.99

2TB for $90 (2023) Dollars seems like a great deal to me. Considering I just paid $8 for a fuc** Starbuck drink.

jballs,
@jballs@sh.itjust.works avatar

Haha seriously. I don’t know how everything else keeps getting more expensive while SSD prices are plummeting. But I’ll take it!

The cheap SSD prices I mean…

PlatinumSf, in [Case] ASUS ROG Z11 Mini-ITX/DTX Mid-Tower $49.99

As an owner of this case. Do not buy. This case was designed by Satan himself to be as difficult to use as possible.
