The restaurant I went to the other day had this fee. When I saw the headline, I was like suck it restaurant. Of course there’s a carve out for healthcare. Looks like all the junk fees just became healthcare fees. What a joke.
Thank god. Recently ate at a place that in fine print has a 4% surcharge added to the bill. They didn’t cite any reason at all. It’s basically just a way to false advertise lower prices.
I saw a place post a tiny quarter sheet of paper with like size 12 font summary in the corner of the store front.
