Hello, I'm an English teacher! Originally from America but I live in Taiwan now. I spend my free time playing video games, reading books, writing stories, and watching anime.
Oh that's tough. I've only recently started watching anime in the last couple of years so I don't have much to draw from, but I really like HunterXHunter, Fullmetal Alchemist, The Disastrous Life of Saiki K, Way of the Househusband, and the new Gundam Witch from Mercury.
So, hey! I'm an internet person that's floated around etherspace awhile, not that long, but at least long enough that I remember ol' forums and stuff like StumbleUpon.
I'm into some webcomics and really enjoy reading, but I'm also really bad/good about both getting a bunch of books & making lists of books to read and just kind of sporadically reading some of them. I dabble in a lot more, but this is me trying to keep it brief, so I'm stopping here.
Wildly different tonally, but I enjoy Questionable Content, Dresden Codak, and Rice Boy. The last one is a complete longform comic, so of the three it's probably the easiest to recommend checking out.
The first two are still on-going, which I enjoy, but means there can be some catching up for either the stories or story arcs happening (in the case of QC). Then again, you can kinda drop into Questionable Content whenever, as it's definitely the chillest of the three, but there's still low stakes lil' story arcs happening.

I’ve been very active here on the last 5 days or so, trying to maintain quite a few communities and get familiar with all this fediverse stuff. I’m glad to be here and I LOVE the atmosphere you’ve all been creating on Lemmy! I live in NYC even though I’m not from there, and I smoke a lot of weed, and I’m a dude.
