P.S. the reason I chose Non-Penalty Goals - npxG for Son's goal stat is simple: He consistently outperforms his xG in open play. He is one of the most clinical finishers the Premier League has ever seen. He gets goals he is not expected to get.

@hallenbeck @spurs It is the true statistic. 💯 I can not give credence to penalty shots as they are not truly earned unless they were the one that was fouled in the box. Son’s are earned.

@hallenbeck @spurs I once saw a fellow #LFC fan describe Son as "The player that should be everyone's favourite from a team other than their own", and I think that's pretty fair.
