@JoMendacium and I have apparently reached the age where model building is truly cool :P

We are now preparing a diorama. This cardboard thing is essentially the draft and the scaling is still not right. Soon, we will try to implement it with XPS sheets.

We will also be adding LED strips in the background of the shop window, with all that funky stuff! :cyberpunk:

A Cyberpunk Red figurine beside miniature trash bags against a cardboard wall.
A miniature cardboard air conditioning unit with a small QR code sticker leading to corteximplant.com.
A close-up of the cardboard wall from the mentioned diorama prototype, showcasing miniature trash bags and a cardboard air conditioning unit.

@revengeday @JoMendacium BTW, I love the QR code on the fan.... a nice touch, even for a mockup!

@SynAck @JoMendacium This QR code is so tiny, we had trouble placing it properly :D Now it's slightly crooked.

@revengeday @JoMendacium yeah, but the crooked is what makes it cool. Makes it look haphazard and "slightly dented". High tech, low life, baby!

@revengeday @JoMendacium Well, as a model builder from an early age, I will say that it's always been cool. I didn't so much build dioramas or scenes like this, but at one point my childhood room was full of models of airplanes and cars that I had built.

Of course, since that's not considered "productive" in any way (unless one can make money doing it), the vagaries of adulthood and working made it something that I didn't spend much time on. Model building wasn't the definition of "relaxing" that my 20-something mind could conjure up.

But now that I'm almost 50, I can now see the appeal of it much like I did when I was in my teens. Unfortunately, I don't have the eyesight or steadiness of hands required to make the models look good. :kekwwait:

@SynAck @JoMendacium I'll be honest, I made my last diorama in school and received a bad grade. In general, I was not skilled in crafts according to my teachers. Since then, I lost interest in creating things. But now, it's back! I can create whatever I want, and no one will judge me. Only the fun matters! Even if it looks silly, it's still a relaxing time spent creating something :)

@revengeday @JoMendacium Exactly! And that's what the notion of "productive adulting" took away from us!
