The upload was maybe unintended public, because of wrong settings while uploading from the reply option of picture upload. When not logged into the site the image and the image folder do not show up on the profile photo page. The image is available, viewable having the URL. Mastodon shows it as "Not available,click to view" redirecting to the URL where it is displayed. The image ALT text is displayed on Mastodon.
