really weird to hear @Gargron referring to the fediverse as "the social web"

I understand the hesitation for Eugen not liking the term 'fediverse' cause of its non specificity and a general inability to define the edges of such a term but using social web instead seems so strange. Social web sounds like everything social on the web so its even more vague of a term

@liaizon @Gargron I always preferred the term open social Web, because that's what it is. "Fediverse" sounds to me like it does have clearly defined borders, which isn't really true.

(That said, I still also use fediverse/fedi a lot.)
