There is a lot of "in my eberron" going on in our campaign. Long story short; in the eternal battle of manipulations between the Chamber and the Lords of Dust there is now a third player; The Knights of the Golden Eclipse were once founded by a former Chamber member who believed that there should be a party that fought for the (relative to their games) short term interests of mortals, to stop the average lives on Khorvaire from being less than a playball in the large games. This founder then disappeared into "plot".
This worked for a while, and then the Knights radicalized and became a "only we can guide the way" cult, scheming to gain all relevant political power on Khorvaire while still fighting the Chamber and Lords of Dust left and right.
The party is in between all of this. For most of their now level 3 to 13 campaign, they have been fighting the cult. But now they are very strong. Their actions and past begin shaping the world. So a member of the Chamber has started to make moves that include them, and soon one of the Rakshasa will follow.
Because my job as a DM isnt over until the party truly and fully understands that on this level there are no objectively good or bad guys. They are all dicks. They will need to realize that at one point you need to stop following, and start leading, and avoid the pitfalls of The Knights of the Golden Eclipse, or dont...
As for me: I’m running a game for one player, and her character has been training as a paladin at the Martial Temple of Dol Arrah and is about to swear her oath (Ancients). She’s about to be tasked with investigating a burrowing creature that’s menacing the countryside—only to find that it’s a rare and endangered form of ankheg, and a representative of House Vadalis wants to capture it unharmed!
