Ten days with his thing, most days light usage but several multi-hour note-taking sessions and a lot of faffing around with settings, and it’s just dropped to 49% battery. It arrived here with 93%, and I’ve never charged it. #eink
@ctietze I’d be interested to hear about your sync solution. I haven’t signed into Boox and don’t really want to. I don’t think I really need sync, but occasional backup would be useful.
@mattgemmell Same! I went with it blindly at the beginning because I didn't understand how auto-export would work.
Reading progress I'll double check: IIRC it doesn't sync via 3rd party apps – except Calibre, maybe?
(For data sync, pick any a dedicated sync solution. Whatever is available on the Play Store. I'm using self-hosted Nextcloud, personally, because then I can use 3rd party apps with WebDAV directly. That works super well for me. Dropbox, Google Drive, etc are also possible.)
