Is there a split with 34 keys as the Sweep but stagger like the Corne?
Thanks!
Thanks!
obosob, have you considered just building a corne, snapping off the 6th column (as most corne PCBs allow) and only soldering 2 of keys in the thumb cluster?
(it’s 34, btw, the sweep has 34 keys)
FearlessSpiff, Yes. Ordered a Corne. Will break of the outer column. And thanks for the correction. Updated the post
overby, You could use a corne and break off the outer column
Wheeljack, When you say "stagger", do you mean not-ortholinear? If so, I'm confused as both the Sweep and Corne are ortholinear.

no they aren’t, they’re colstaggered.
Ar7h, There's a habit among ergo keyboard enthusiasts to refer to columnar staggered keyboards as "ortholinear". Ortholinear became a term for anything that's not row staggered like a traditional keyboard, even though it's not technically correct. Columnar stagger is a more corrrect term for stuff like corne or sweep. I mean I get it. I could switch between an ortho and a collumnar stagger pretty easily, but every time I have to type on a "normal" keyboard I fall flat on my face.
FearlessSpiff, Yes. Correct. I mixed it up again. I mean the vertical offset of course. Thanks for clarifying.
