Favorite Fan Comics

I've seen some fan comics I love for some of my favorite series. There was a short one based on MP100 that just focused on the main characters of the Reigen spin-off comic. It wasn't anything super formal, but it was great.

My interest in Pokemon Mystery dungeon was driven almost entirely by a short, well done fan comic featuring the protagonist and Sceptile. (I'm just like this, okay.)

What are some of your favorites? Or what are the things that make your favorite fan comics your favorites?

Goodness, I have a real hard time narrowing down favourites. I'll just mention a few that I didn't already mention in a previous comment:

Lil' Char and the Gang
Pokémon. Original setting. This author knows how to write children. Wholesome slice of life nonsense.

Tale of Two Rulers
Legend of Zelda. Original setting, but many shoutouts and references to most games (largely in reference as their past histories of reincarnation). Ganon and Zelda try to break the cycle of wars and deaths. Will warn there are some heavy themes weaved into this. I love the banter and comedy.

Justice League as children. Unlike Lil' Char these characters do not read as children at all. The way they talk and act it would've been more fitting if they were teens. However, the story, paneling and such is top notch. Also Slice of Life.

Dating a Team Magma Grunt
Brendan dates a Magma Grunt. Slice of Life. Very cute. It is likely to stay unfinished as the artist got called to their country's army and haven't heard a word from them since.

I don't read as many fan comics as I do original ones these days, but two which I'm keeping up with are Wanted (a dark and interesting Pokémon Colosseum Nuzlocke) and Decks & Duelists (a hilarious screenshot comic treating the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime like a ttrpg the cast is playing).
