What's everyone reading this week (6/19/23)?
Anyone in the middle of something they're really enjoying?
I'm partway through Dead Man's Rain by Frank Tuttle (goodreads link), the second entry in the Markhat series, which about a "finder" (PI) taking cases in a somewhat generic fantasy city (trolls! vampires! aristocrats! magic!). The first story was competently written, and a fairly light read; this one is shaping up to be similar. Enjoyable palate* cleanser.
- Subgenre: mystery
- Single 1st person POV, past tense
- Short story (later entries in the series are book-length)
Edited for spelling.
