staticlifetime, (edited ) I'm wondering just how much this could affect Rocky Linux and AlmaLinux. If they purchase a license to run RHEL, wouldn't they be able to get access to the source anyway? Not sure how feasible that is.
Edit: Apparently that's not a possible solution, according to the AlmaLinux OS Foundation:
Unfortunately the way we understand it today, Red Hat’s user interface agreements indicate that re-publishing sources acquired through the customer portal would be a violation of those agreements.
TooL, Seems like a pretty scumbag move there redhat. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised though.
