Popups are a specific part of html that can have permissions built around it.
Text entered into a field is kind of broad. I’m not sure how to wrap that in a permission when the website can build that input however they want. There might be something to stop like live streaming or whatever telemetry is being called to capture the text, but that might break functionally.
On reddit there was a sub called uselessredcircle for images that had an unnecessary circle around the object being talked about. This image makes me wish for a community called hilariousredarrow. I love the “this is useless” comment.
Not tools personally, but multiple browsers. Firefox Developer Edition exists and uses its own profile, with its own set of add-ons. So I do my developing in that, and everything else in the normal version of Firefox that can be installed simultaneously just fine.
@guy Nice. I didn't know this exists. Will definitely give it a try.
As I mentioned in another profiles suggestion, I'll consider it, but it's regretful if this is the only option because I use history/bookmarks/cache heavily and it's simply crippling to lose access to them just cuz firefox doesn't allow Ctrl+F/Scripting for bulk addon management.
