johnnycashsguitar, It’s a fairy circle, as everyone else has said. Cool thing to encounter.
brlemworld, Fairy circles are usually the sign of a dying tree
froost, It’s a “fairy circle”. They are not separate mushrooms, but fruiting bodies of the same individual fungus. There’s mycelium underground that is growing each year, and the mushrooms fruit on the periphery. The center may be devoid of nutrients once the mycelium uses all, so it grows as a circle.
Alternatively, according to folklore, elves dancing around made them.
Chainweasel, There’s obviously a korok there
LunchEnjoyer, Love this 😍
coffeebiscuit, See it as the fruits that’s grow on the fungus “plant”. The fungus grows as an underground network with fruits on the ends of the “branches”.
Mister, Fairy circle maybe? I’ve seen these on lawns before
krey, yeah, that’s not uncommon. they start in the center and grow outwards
teegus, Yeah, as the nutrients in the middle are exhausted
Fuck_u_spez_, I had never seen one before the day that I ate some cubes and took my dogs for a walk around the neighborhood for the first time. We passed one on the way out and another on the way back. I’m not a superstitious person but I could have sworn nature was talking to me that day. In fairness, though, the psilocybin probably had a lot to do with it.
