Lyney's burst animation music is such a nice touch. The normal attack string is also cool. Shame it won't be used much in normal play. Really impressed by the work put in by the animation dept!
Lynette's moves are also very nice. Slightly less flashy, but very sleek and a lot of poise. Yelan E at home for overworld too.
Freminet reminding me of Q from Zero Escape. The helmet idle is kind of hilarious. Actually love that he puts it on in gameplay too. I remember some talks about Capitano's playability possibly clashing with Genshin's design choices, so it's kind of neat to see.
Squirtle!Hydro traveler looks so goofy with the water gun, I almost want to use it for fun if not for having to switch back and forth.
Are you having an issue seeing the videos? They're hosted on streamable and shared by the source itself so there shouldn't be any issues. I can't give an alternative to the Twitter link though because that's the direct source for the leak:(.
Oh for sure, barring Freminet cause his atk animations look kinda basic too imo. I'm loving Lyney and Lynette though.
For traveller, they're reusing animations. The elemental skill animation is the same as when using the wildlife catcher I believe, but tbf it's just them holding their hand out
La Signora poppin, it would make a really nice wind glider design tbh.
Childe's splash having a similar pose to the waterfall one is neat. The transition in the water from light blue ocean waves to the darker narwhal design also provides nice contrast.
Oh, interesting. I thought Fontaine was going to be mostly landlocked & connected to the current map, but this way it looks like devs would have more space to develop Liyue/Mondstadt regions in the future
It's, I mean, it's +60% DMG bonus for her elemental skill. That's akin to an elemental artifact 2p + elemental DMG goblet. If you run Stringless that's 60%+48%+46.6% for a total of 154.6% dmg bonus on her elemental skill. I wonder at what point it would be better to simply run an EM/ATK goblet/sands on her instead of an elemental DMG bonus goblet with this 4p.
If you run EM/Atk sands/goblet with Stringless, she will have a minimum of 108% DMG bonus and 352 em with no sacrifice on the atk department. Sand and goblet main stat would be interchangable too so it would be easier to build for.
In a double Dendro comp, her em also has the possibility to go up to 452. I wonder if this would beat 4p electro set for quicken teams.
I think they intend to have at least 1 standard 5 star for each new region (they probably made the decision after Inazuma, so that why there isn't for that region yet). Still waiting for a standard Geo 5 star.
It makes sense, although I do hope they give us a selector with all 5 stars in Standard now. I've wanted Diluc ever since I started playing in 1.2 but I've yet to get him:( I've got all the originals with multiple constellations each and even recently got Tighnari and Dehya. It doesn't feel very fair :'(
-I'm so ready for Fontaine exploration. Underwater looks cool so far. Loving that they have a sewer & aqueduct area because that's one of the things I was hoping with hydro region.
-Looking forward to Kaeya hangout and costume for sure. Last time we saw him it was far too brief >.<. Maybe in a couple of months we'll get an Amber skin too to round off the trio.
-Love Collei getting extra screentime with these events and quests because she unexpectedly didn't have much going with the archon quests.
-Preprint world seems to be inspired by that primo-less platformer web event a couple of months back. With the upcoming hexenzirkel & witchy era maybe they'll also add that recent potion mixing web event in the future.
One thing I really want is chest/puzzle sync with hoyolab map or some other better way to keep track of these things. I'm always torn between a sense of completionism and wanting to explore blindly. So right now I kind of just tick off puzzles on the map as I come across them and use compass/oculi finder for everything else. However, having a sync would just let me explore freely and then collect the few missing chests once I'm tired of going over a region. There's 1 chest in Liyue that I still don't have and I can't be damned to follow a guide. Either that or just a true % or chest total for a subregion. If I knew specifically what subregion the missing puzzle/chest is, it would be a lot better than poring over half of Teyvat. More elaborate in-game map markers would also be very nice.
