No. Stop killing in the name of capitalism and convenience. The key take away from that article is the fact that it’s cheaper to create the fuel cells from the keratin. That’s all well and good, but the feathers aren’t from chickens dropping them due to their natural reasons, but as a byproduct of their mass killings.

Kill humans and take their hair and nails instead, right?

The feathers are going to come off of he chickens when killed for food regardless, at the least those could be useful (if they aren’t already somehow)

That’s my point. We need to move away from killing animals for resources. Humans largely do not need to eat animals especially in the quantity we do today. This is more of a cost saving/profit increasing tactic than an environmental boon.
