Turning Pages, Transforming Lives: Cameroon’s Textbook Revolution

A decade-long engagement between the Government of Cameroon and the World Bank has improved textbook availability and affordability for over 4 million children nationwide. Since 2014, a combination of interventions has helped to reduce the high cost of textbooks by over 50 percent, quadrupling the availability and number of textbooks in public schools.
