Say, what are y’all’s strategies if a show is “sold out”? Look for a scalper? Try to sneak in? Stand outside looking cool and hope someone you know passes by? Does it vary by venue?
Oh hey, I love SWR, great post! This song and Tear You Apart were their first two radio hits and I highly recommend their work.
If you’re interested in more:
Their first self-titled album is very much this heavy vibe minus one track that’s a little more upbeat (Out of Control). I love the whole thing. These Things is on that album.
Their second album, This Is Forever, is a little more wistful I would say. I really like the tracks Written in Blood and Rachel. IIRC the music video for Written in Blood was inspired by the movie The Hunger. I’d link to it if I weren’t on mobile and kinda lazy.
They have two kinda half albums (I forget what that’s called- EPs?) that are a little all over the place. They’re called Save Your Soul and Up and Down. I forget which one but one of them has a really really good instrumental only track that I like to mix into my “chill focus” playlist.
Then there’s Valleyheart which has genuinely hopeful tracks and sounds different from the rest of their stuff. I’m not sure it qualifies as goth industrial music but I am not a music person or the genre police. It was an adjustment at first but I think it is good. Maybe not on the same level as the first 2 albums but I think Justin especially was in a much different (likely better) headspace in his life.
