Fuck me, it’s probably the first time I’ve seen carpentry and hard disks together, and I’m pretty sure it’s the first time I’ve seen wood parts inside a PC.
This is fascinating, almost crossing from DIY to WHY territory.

I think those are #2 pencils - wash your hands after handling them!
mvirts, I think I would hot glue the drives in. With the right orientation overheating drives eject themselves :D
magickman, How are the pencils secured in the last picture?

They look like they’re not sharpened and most likely the PC case is on the floor. Looks like the pencils might be being used to measure, but not sure.
