robustjumprope,

Today in JavaScript land: I made a thunk so I can lazily evaluate my curried function.

God, non-programmers must think we are crazy with all the ways we name our stuff :neocat_laugh_tears:

bakijak,

@robustjumprope it's true as a non programmer I have no clue what you could have done that would make such a sound

robustjumprope,

@bakijak it's the sound of me banging my head against my keyboard in frustration. I'm not sure how I managed to get all this curry on myself, weird :neofox_googly_shocked:

You need to be proactive in evaluation instead of lazy. Now it's just a mess :ablobcatnodmeltcry:

Honestly, the jargon sounds familiar , but I can't keep them in my head. I end up breaking them down into 'lazy empty wrapper function' and 'high level function to wrap inputs'.

I do understand the concepts tho, technical jargon just goes over my head often. I guess people who write research papers love them. :ablobcatreachflip:
