When I click links in lemmy comments that explicitly include http in the url, the resulting page is always https. To me, the preferred behavior would be to default to https if no protocol is specified, but to respect the user’s preference if given....
With most links it goes to the browser version which plays within Jerboa, but with YouTube video links it always takes me away to the YouTube app. Can it not do that please? Thanks
lemmy.dbzer0.com/post/20017025 This post for example has so many posts and comments linked in it for other Lemmy comments and posts and jerboa show “couldn’t find comment or post or user” or it just simply goes to homescree. . This is a regular behavior and I’d appreciate if the devs solved it once and for all if they...
I have typed a longer comment before and then accidentally pressed the “back” button on my smartphone before I posted it. The comment was sadly lost and the time I invested was wasted....
Any time I click on any of them now it says the image can’t be viewed and if I try to open them externally it just says the site can’t be reached. It doesn’t seem to make a difference if I’m on wifi or not. It seems like almost a third of the images people are posting are hosted there
Since the last update, I don’t see the total number of upvotes and downvotes but a ratio. So when it is at 0, I see 50% which is less interesting than seeing how many people interacted. Was it me upvoting and a single downvote or is it highly controversial with 100-100? Also: in a highly downvoted comment, I want to see how...
Before the newest update I was able to collapse a comment and all of its replies by tapping the “headline” of the comment. Now this action only hides the replies....
Other apps and the UI seem to be working . I have edited out the username and password for privacy reasons. Also i am running version 60 but i was running it the previous week too....
Reddit had a feature where you’re able to configure multireddits, or basically a custom feed of select subreddits and only those, kinda like a preset subscribe list. Does Jerboa have this feature?
I see that the voting arrows and the comment section icons on the front page have swapped sides, maybe in a recent update. I’m using the mobile app of course. I don’t know if this is the right spot to voice my complaint. I just think it was better the previous way, arrows on the right.
Hi, I’m using Jerboa in List mode and I recently noticed that posts are marked as read simply by scrolling by. I feel that might be a reasonable change for Card mode, but an entry in a List should not count as read unless it was opened. Or am I doing something wrong?
I noticed that since the update, the Create Post button doesn’t appear on the Home view, do we have to navigate into a community now before we can post? Or is this now located in some other menu or setting?...
Jerboa devs, thank you so much for the latest updates - I’m really digging the swipe-to-vote functionality! I do find that it’s a little too sensitive and registers votes when I’m simply trying to scroll up or down in my feed or a comments section. I guess I don’t always scroll in a perfectly vertical path. Would it be...
I wanted to post screenshots of my riced KDE setup on Unixporn so I copied them to my phone using a USB cable. And now when I’m trying to add them to a post, it seems to always show the same error (Client request(POST lemmy.ml/pictrs/image) invalid: 403 . Text “
