BrundleFly2077,

The Mountain in the Sea by Ray Nayler. Super good so far. Very weird. Very thoughtful.

Added that one to my wish list.

One of their recommended books was “The Tusks of Extinction by Ray Nayler”.

It looks interesting as well.

Currently rereading A Fire Upon The Deep by Vernor Vinge. It’s been a few years and I always found it fascinating to think about.

BrundleFly2077,

Have you read anything by Stephen Baxter? I found he scratched a similar itch. Just insane scale and imagination.

Yeah, somewhere around ten of them. I’ve been reading to mean more of them but too many books not enough time you know?

JaymesRS,

We just started a book Bingo over at !books and one of the categories involves thieves or spies. Since The Thief Who Pulled on Trouble’s Braids by Michael McClung was on sale recently and it had been highly recommended I just started that.

GourmetLizard,

The Trading Game by Gary Stevenson, a really good read so far.
