FarraigePlaisteach, 5 months ago (edited 5 months ago) I didn't know that Haudenosaunee was the correct name (I had been using ::: spoiler spoiler Iroquois :::) The Wikipedia page editors are still debating whether or not to change them name there: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Iroquois#Requested_move_10_December_2023 To no surprise, those who oppose do not appear to be non-indigenous. Some pages about Ireland and it's people have a similar issue, where British terminology which is either not recognised or offensive to them is being protected by foreign editors.
