I love vim and lunarvim. But recently I've been trying helix and I'm super impressed.

Everything just keeps getting better in leaps and bounds. Crazy to watch over the last decade.

in case anyone besides me is curious: helix github | install docs

looks neat. thanks for the mention

JoGooD,

I like kakoune but went back to neovim because there isn't as much plugins

PrunesMakeYouPoop,

I just use Nano. like 90% of my terminal text editing is commenting/uncommenting .conf files or adding FTDI serial numbers to symlinks (which I recently automated anyway).

JoGooD,

I hate nano. I wish people just used vim instead. I mean it is the same without the keybind displayed. Vim should be like nano by default. The base vim config are bad anyway, so why not add this little help guide?
