I think there are 5 hawkers with ‘Michelin bibs’ in my distant family! Prouder of that than anything else hehe

It’s a delicious line of work, but utterly back breaking. Each of them gets up at 2am to work for so many hours, for US$2-5 a bowl.

Hawker food is so valued but under-priced and under-valued as an industry we all claim to love so much.
