I just remembered that I used to have a red AND a blue passport. The blue one was only valid for travel to West Malaysia (after our countries’ separation)
As most of my early international travel was to see my family on the other side of the border, I had the blue one first, and then later, both (when my family wanted to visit East Malaysia and beyond. My first time on a plane was to Sarawak and Sabah!)
