Meola Road closure Extended for 3 months

thevoyagekayaking, The works include rebuilding 840m of Meola Rd, half of which is being raised by about 400m over an old rubbish tip.
Does nobody proof read this stuff?

I just assumed that section of the road needed to go over the top of the Sky Tower for some reason.
thevoyagekayaking, I bet the view will be incredible though.
Dave, So they thought it would take 6 weeks but now 6 weeks are up they need another 3 months to finish?
_ed, Thats the one - pretty much taking out one of the main one of the three main routes West > City/Shore.
