Hello natives! I am attending a work meeting in next week, and I've been tasked with finding a mid-range, quirky venue for a team dinner (~12 people). Requirements:

  • Outdoor space with heaters (we have people we want to accommodate)
  • Both food and (alcoholic) drink
  • Options for vegetarians
  • Near the Liberty Bell (our meeting site is near there) if possible
    Any recommendations?
    Please boost! Thanks. :boostRequest:

@jik Sorry I didn't see this until now! Did you find a venue that met your criteria? I'm interested in your results.

@skyfaller We thought Cira Green was perfect, and when we called them to check they assured us they would be open that night, but when we showed up at 6pm there was no one there. 🤷 We ended up going to Lucky Strike, which alas wasn't outdoors but was not crowded at all.

@jik Oh yeah, the Cira Green roof is definitely a cool space, it's a shame you weren't able to experience it.

I wouldn't have been much help picking out restaurants by the Liberty Bell anyway, I'm not familiar with that part of town and I've barely eaten out since the pandemic started.

I wish it were easier to find restaurants with outdoor seating (that actually exists and is open), it seems like the sort of thing that should be easy to search for but inexplicably isn't.
