followed tags on home feed

Hey all I’d really like to use pixelfed but I’m having an issue where I assumed that the followed hashtags would show up with posts on my home feed with those tags. However it does not seem to be the case. Is there a way for this to work that way? Thanks!

edit: so it looks like the web has pixelfed.social/i/web/discover/my-hashtags but that only shows a rotating 3 followed hashtags. seems like a silly way to do that. it also does not appear to be accessible from the android app.
