@glennf@Dr_Bombay there’s a story attributed to the Joh. Enschedé punchcutter Paul Rädisch who allegedly did not like the introduction of a mechanical engraving device in his workshop. And then took parts from the machine and tossed them in the canal on his walk home.
@letterror@Dr_Bombay That is one on me! This is a rich weird genre. I’ve lost the reference at the moment, but another was the wife of a well-regarded painter, son of a lot famous one, who despondent at his death, threw the type they’d developed into the English Channel (if my memory is working).
