It feels like a lot of the world seems to have lost the idea that you can do something purely for the joy of it.
Not to be the best at it.
Not to make money from it as a side hustle.
Not to turn it into your main source of income.
Not to show it off and get external validation.
Just you doing something for you. Because you enjoy doing it.
@brunty Totally agree. The older I get the more and more I enjoy stuff that’s for me. If other people enjoy it when I throw it out there, great, but as soon as I stopped making that the goal I felt so much lighter and happier with those projects. Fuck a side hustle for just the sake of a side hustle, let joy be enough when you can.
