This playlist barely scratches the surface of the incredible albums he worked on. And it doesn’t even include music from his own bands - Acerbic punk from Big Black, minimalist rock from Shellac, and the other one I won’t name because Albini was also a cantankerous man and truthfully a bit of a dick.

I think this may be my favourite Shellac song just because of how incredibly bitter and brutal the lyrics are.
