@BeAware Sure thing! As long as I keep a couple to help keep the bug population in check. The babies are good for snacking on mosquitoes, but the adults will go after those enormous face-hugger spiders we get here sometimes--though those fights can go either way...
@BeAware I'm in the Philippines right now, been here for a few years. (I'm from the US, though--Georgia, New York, Oregon...) The house geckos don't get very large, maybe 10-15 cm long if the cats leave them alone, but yeah, I think there would be agricultural forms and ecologic impact statements to fill out to try to get them in the mail. The spiders you can definitely have, though. 23cm leg span. I'll risk jail to just to get rid of a few....
@BeAware@dreamplan2501 At least they're mostly harmless ... except for, well, causing heart attacks when you find them in a dark room. They move really fast, though, and they ACT aggressive, because they know sane people will run away.
@BeAware I let the geckos run wild in the house (or, rather, I can't seem to catch them or keep them out--and also they're on the payroll, eating other house invaders). I'll try to get pictures and post them!
