Great video. I got mine earlier this week, and I’m pretty happy with it overall. It was my first Powkiddy device, so I didn’t know what to expect. The JELOS image flashed to the emmc is fairly broken, but it has so much potential. You’re getting so much for the price.
I’m working on a custom frontend (and distro) for it called matchbox os. Its an amalgamation of my favorite parts of SilverBlue and the RG35XX’s MinUI. The GUI is written in Golang, and the distro is fedora-based.
I’ll be posting occasional updates to matchboxos.org if anyone wants to follow it’s development. I have an embedded systems background and I love taking on projects like this.
