I don’t like these sensational headlines. In fact I’ve given up reading science news at all because of these. Is there a tl;dr bot to validate what I already knew would be the case?
Sadly it’s sensationalized bullshit like this that is the only scientific reading the general public will ever consume. No one has the patience anymore to read up on any of these things. Shit, you have a crap chance that they read past the headline of the sensationalized story.
