How do I hide gyro from a game using steam input?

Trying to play shadow warrior with a dualsense. It’s interpreting the gyro input as the secondary attack trigger (no matter which trigger that is) and in turn the trigger does nothing. In steam input settings the gyro is set to ‘none’ but that doesn’t prevent this behavior. Any way to hide the gyro from the game...
