[Game] New update for Vampire Survivors is out, adds co-op and new game engine with better performance
Glad co-op is finally here, going to get some good use out of my dock.

Is the new engine enabled by default? Because I have 3 options for Betas:
- None
- new-engine - New Engine Beta
- public-beta - Public beta
So if I select None does it mean I’ll still use the new engine?

My understanding is this engine was previously only available in beta, but now it’s available to everyone. So you should be fine picking none.

Fubarberry, This is local multiplayer, and it’s a fun free addition. In general this game has been extremely generous about adding new content for free, and characterizing this as a bad addition is misguided at best.

TheOctonaut, Does Co-op work between the two? I own both, I’m not going to convince my wife to buy herself a Steam Deck but she might happily waste 15 mins beside me on the Switch.
raptir, It has local co-op, plug your steam deck into a TV and get a controller.

I have said something similar before.
Spoiler alert: people are not always up to co-op with you, so you may end up playing by yourself and not getting good use out of your dock

Rossel, The new engine is finally out for PC, nice. That means better performance in endgame maps.
