I’m currently “on a business trip” so I am not available often this weekend. This update will either be light or will be released much later. The current changes I have planned are all quality of life changes, just to make the app slightly easier/more pleasant to use....
The redesign of join-lemmy.org is live. I noticed Summit is not listed on the Apps page. Do you plan to have it added? Dessalines’ recent post sounds like it’s up to app developers to initiate the process: https://lemmy.world/post/7593185
This release aims at burning down the user request list. The big ones are further improvements to the configurability of the app as well as admin tools support. Some quality of life and bug fixes are also included in this release....
Going to try to burn down the user requests list....
Systems refer to the inner workings of the app. While developing the app, a lot of high level architecture decisions were made in order to make the app more scaleable and to facilitate richer features in the future. These decisions generally aren’t super visible to an end user....

Changing the Post Sorting seems to change Comment Sorting too but to an odd value.
You talked Here about not wanting to manage a Open source project which I can totally understand. That’s why I wanted to ask If you could maybe make the source available? The only thing you would need to is to upload the code somewhere. No managing, no pull requests, no nothing....
Right now moderator tools have been implemented but not admin tools. Admin tools include standard mod tools but also things like the purge command. The ability to modify instance settings would be nice but is less important to me. If you implemented some of these tools I'd appreciate it, it would make administering from Summit...
Welcome to v1.12.0 of Summit for Lemmy. This update is focused on giving users more configurability for navigation within the app....
Images and gifs - it would be convenient to be able to swipe to close even if it is zoomed in....
I like to see user profile images, it adds a bit of flare to comment sections and helps me tell users apart. I think it would be really cool if there were an option to see them in Summit.
I’m continuing the settings/configurability work and adding even more settings. This update will be focused on adding app navigation related settings....
This update adds Lemmy v0.19 (the latest version of Lemmy) support to the app. It also adds a number of user settings. There were more settings planned for this release but with the announcement of v0.19, I decided it was safer to cut the release now and add support for v0.19 as the latest lemmy update breaks a lot of stuff with...

The last thing anyone who uses Lemmy would want is his data leaking to google.
This update adds a feature I’ve always wanted: advanced screenshots. Advanced screenshots can only be used on the post screen. It allows you to selected exactly what you want to include in your screenshow, giving you perfect screenshots each time. No system UI or cropping needed....
The title pretty much explains it all, but it’d be nice if posts could automatically be marked as read after we vote on them. As far as I can tell, the only way to mark them read is either to mark every single post as we scroll past them, or manually marking each post as read. It’d be nice if there were a middle option
Been a while since I last gave an update. I’ve been implementing a bunch of user requested features in the past and I think it’s finally time to implement a feature that I want to use....
I’m really enjoying Summit, I’ve tried every Lemmy client I could find and I think this is the best one I’ve used. I can’t find the source code though, github.com/idunnololz/summit-for-lemmy seems to only list releases, is this a bug?
This update will be released to beta testers and Github within the next couple of hours. If the update is bug free, it will be released to everyone else within 24 hours....
I can’t open communitys from burggit.moe with a burggit.moe profile, it says page not found, i don’t know what the issue is, the instance is up and running and the communities display normal in Web and other apps. Can someone explain whats the problem?
I’m testing something out and putting the release post out before the update is released fully. This update will be live later today....
I’ll title this release later but I wanted to create this post as some things have an’ready been done and I wanted to update the community....
